About Tushar

Tushar brings a wealth of experience in podiatry, with a strong focus on patient-centered care. His dedication to going above and beyond for his patients is evident in his approach to treatment.

Outside of work, Tushar is a skilled tennis player who has represented his state and university in various events, including playing at the Sydney Olympic Village. His involvement in sports has provided him with valuable insight into injury management and rehabilitation, sparking his interest in podiatry and specialization in treating musculoskeletal, sports injuries, rheumatological, and autoimmune conditions affecting the lower limb.

Tushar is well-versed in orthoses prescription, dry needling, shockwave therapy, and manual foot mobilization and manipulation techniques. He is also proficient in analyzing medical imaging, utilizing tools like X-Rays and Ultrasound Imaging for accurate diagnosis when needed.

With a special interest in both conservative and surgical management of challenging ingrown toenails, Tushar's expertise in this area stems from his dedicated focus during his university years on surgical ingrown toenail management. Additionally, his time in Alice Springs within the High Risk Foot sector, working with the Central Australian Aboriginal Congress, allowed him to gain valuable experience in delivering high-risk wound care in rural and outback settings.

His commitment extended beyond clinical settings, as he engaged in placements at the Alice Springs Hospital and provided podiatry care for high-risk patients at the renowned Purple House dialysis centres. Tushar also ventured into the outback outside Alice Springs, ensuring podiatry care reached those who couldn't access city facilities.

Whether you require general foot care, treatment for ingrown toenails, or management of sports injuries and chronic conditions, Tushar is dedicated to providing comprehensive and specialised care.
