About Ashlea
Ashlea, a skilled practitioner holding a Diploma of Remedial Massage and Sports Therapy from Victoria University, has further advanced her expertise by completing the Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy at RMIT. Specialising in body mechanics and biomechanics, Ashlea is passionate about helping patients achieve their physical goals, whether it’s pain relief, improved flexibility, enhanced stability, or elevated sporting performance.
Ashlea excels in developing strengthening programs, providing stretching advice, demonstrating effective mobility techniques, and utilising specific treatments such as cupping, Needling and Electro Stimulators. Her focus is on supporting individuals throughout their wellness journey, with her areas of specialisation including the treatment of chronic and acute pain, sports injuries, sciatica, and migraines.
Ashlea understands the importance of staying active while receiving treatment. She works with individuals to ensure they can continue playing sports, hitting the gym, or carrying out their daily responsibilities while receiving the care they need to be 100% even when active. Ashlea's approach emphasises the seamless integration of treatment into everyday life, allowing clients to maintain their physical pursuits without interruption.
Drawing upon her personal background as a player of the Victorian Netball League and the Essendon VFLW team, as well as playing in the NT and learning culture and working with the community. Ashlea draws of her experience working with professional sports teams like the Western Bulldogs AFL and A-League soccer clubs, Ashlea recognises the significance of swift recovery for a prompt return to peak performance in training and competition.
When you're dealing with pain, it's a sign that something isn't right. Ashlea specialise in thinking outside the box to uncover the root cause of your soreness, injuries, and exhaustion. If others have been unable to find the source of your discomfort, it's time to try something new.
